Last week, I had the opportunity to see Julien (@Julien) and Chris Brogan (@chrisbrogan) speak at Affiliate Summit East 2009 about their new book, Trust Agents.
Although the book wasn’t available for purchase, last week, Affiliate Summit did provide copies available for purchase and for Platinum pass holders. I got my copy, had Chris and Julien sign it, and am reading it, now.
So far, it’s awesome!! Lots of good information and more importantly good take-aways and action items. I will provide a full review when I finish the book, but today, the book becomes available to the general public!
This is a book I would not miss reading. I was anxious to get my copy at Affiliate Summit and have used every minute I have available for reading to try and finish this book. It takes a while to get through, but it’s not because it’s hard to read or boring. I just find myself stopping constantly to take notes and work on something that the book demonstrated to me (like creating a listening station — learn more about that one in the book!).
Before Affiliate Summit, I had never met Julien Smith. I had met Chris at another Affiliate Summit and planned to buy the book just based on my interactions with him in person and on his blog. I have to say, though, that Julien is an amazingly insightful person in his own right and feel fortunate to have met and chatted with him at the Summit, this year. He and Chris complement each other, very well and you can see their relationship at work in the book, also.
I would love to say it’s a must-read book, but don’t feel right saying so without finishing it first. What I can say is that it’s a must-read for me and would imagine for anyone involved in social media and online business.

Chris' blog alone has me nodding my head in agreement with each and every post, so I can see how a full book of his insights would require setting it down often to process things. Really looking forward to reading it. Good to hear you are enjoying it so far, Tim.
Hey Dave! Thanks for stopping by and adding to the conversation!
Glad to hear from you, Tim. I'm so impressed with how much and how fast you blog. Very good stuff. People could do to learn from your lesson. : )
Thanks for the stopping by, Chris! I appreciate your feedback on the blog.
